When should I book my session?
If you need a weekend session, it's never too early! My weekends fill extremely fast. Studio sessions can be any time of day but outdoor sessions are best done roughly an hour before sunset. This limits availability even more. Reach out as soon as you can!
What do I need to bring to my family session?
Try to coordinate outfits in complimenting colors as best as you can. If you're coming to the studio, please carry in the shoes you'll be wearing during photos to try to limit dirt/mud/snow on the backdrops. Most importantly, bring a positive attitude and patience!
What kind of shots can we expect during our family photos?
I always try to take group photos of everyone together, individual photos of all the children, group photos of the children, individuals of each child with each parent, all children with each parent, and the parents together without children. Outdoor sessions include posed and candid shots. I'm always up for special requests so don't hesitate to speak up if I forgot something!
